Hey everyone,

Tarun Wordsmith is back, this time with a most dangerous version of History "Political History".

You may think, how may be the political history dangerous??

Well you know the answer. The Indian Constitution contains some acts, that have become highly popular after a big incident that took place in 2014. Without mentioning the incident, I would tell the acts i.e. The sedition act, UAPA act.

Well not deviating from the topic lets discuss the Educational and Political career, along with some controversies about him.

Education and early life:

If we talk of education and literary means, Rahul Gandhi is one of the most qualified political leaders of India. Though he had a tough time in the educational continuation, he is still highly qualified.

When he was the student at The Doon School in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, the Indira Gandhi assassination and Sikh riots rose in India. Due to this, he along with his sister were home-schooled.

Gandhi joined St. Stephen's College, Delhi (an affiliated college of the University of Delhi) in 1989 for his undergraduate education but moved to Harvard University after he completed the first year examinations.

After the assassination of his father Rajeev Gandhi, he shifted to Rollins College in Florida, USA, due to security concerns and obtained his B.A. in 1994. He further went on to obtain an M.Phil. from Trinity College, Cambridge in 1995.

He worked at the Monitor Group, a management consulting firm, in London for three years. In 2002, Gandhi returned to India and set up his technology consultancy viz. Backops Services Private Ltd in Mumbai,

Gandhi has been a strong proponent of harnessing the scale and dexterity that technology can lend while amplifying the power of citizens.

Political Career:

ree

As we can see, his political career is not as bad as he is defamed. He managed and manages some of the big field and departments of Congress party. Though Congress was not able to win the parliamentary election, but he had a huge hand in making his party second biggest party of the largest democracy.

Defamation of a leader:

Every person in India, even if he/she is not hard core supporter of Congress, will say that he has been faced by a lot of strategic defamation. The defamation has been done keeping in mind the political agenda by the opposition parties.

  • "Pappu" was the main framework, initially used by Home Minister Amit Shah, under which the defamation of Rahul Gandhi as a dumb leader started.

  • The another strategy adopted was to use his claims against himself by editing the speech context. The most prominent context editing was done in his speech where he says abut a machine of making gold with potato.

  • Also at some places, people were provoked in the name of religion, questioning the religious lineage of Gandhi family

Such actions might be having the justification politically but this is the thing that we clearly call "Dirty Politics".

Instead of blaming a leader or defaming him, we must try to explore the views of a educated person trying to bring the revolution.

We must never underestimate anyone, It is the most dangerous form of arrogance.
